Jr. Software Engineer

The Junior Software Engineer will work closely with the development team to design, develop, test, and maintain current and future internal products. They will be responsible for championing new methodologies and creating scalable solutions. The primary responsibility of the software engineer is to maintain the internal products for a variety of projects from high traffic web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Software Engineers to maintain current internal products
• Work on developing current and future products
• Implement internal product enhancements
• Develop software for a variety of projects ranging from high-traffic web applications, web services, and mobile apps

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Strong Understanding of Zend/Symfony framework – Knowledge of Symfony 2 is beneficial
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Programming and MVC
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery
• Experience working within the LAMP environment – PHP5+
• Experience working with Java
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to take direction well and work independently with minimal supervision
• General understanding of the product life cycle including – but not limited to – planning the product specification phase, Development, and QA testing process.
